Most average priced Disc Jockey's are happy to just show up with basic information about you and your event.
They will call you the week of your function to discuss your music requests, start time, intros and other basic info.
The day of they will arrive approximately 60 minutes before the start to setup.
As guest arrive, they will play the same canned music they did at their earlier event
If guests don't dance, they'll play the electric slide or similar
Throughout the night, you'll be referred to as Bride and Groom or guest of honor
By the time the event is over...most people have left
We know this is NOT want you want!

Fact!

The average price for a mobile disc jockey service is around $700.

Average means common. The above is what you should expect if you choose an average priced DJ.

FYI...most of my events range from $995 to $1600 some more.

Here is recent dance footage from an outdoor wedding in 95* heat. We were told by the coordinator that most dj's would have packed it in because of the heat.

This next wedding footage took place on a Sunday. The staff at the venue wasn't prepared to stay all night.

Chuck Amstone was the most amazing Deejay. Before planning a wedding I never really gave much thought to my DJ. In fact even during the planning process I kept thinking why am I really spending so much for a DJ? But I am so glad I did it. Chuck made my reception AMAZING! 6 months later I still have people calling me to tell me what a great time they had. During the event Chuck did a great job reading the crowd. He kept everyone on the dance floor the whole night. Not only was he great the night of he was spectacular to work with during the planning. He worked with us & all our family to help make the evening more than anything we ever asked for!!
